The story
Peacock Paradise isolates the bird's train in a field of restrained neutrals so iridescence reads as jewel-like rather than ornamental. Each eye spot was painted with micro-glazes, building depth feather by feather.
In Hindu tradition the peacock accompanies Saraswati and symbolizes beauty with purpose; here that symbolism meets gallery restraint. Negative space around the tail honors Ma while allowing color to sing.
