About
The hand behind the light

Jini Arts began as a quiet practice — morning rituals of gesso, pigment, and prayer before the first brushstroke. What emerged was a body of work rooted in Hindu devotional imagery, interpreted through a contemporary minimalist lens: generous negative space, restrained palettes, and compositions that let the subject breathe.
Each painting is built in layers over weeks, not days. Gold leaf accents appear sparingly; saffron and ochre ground the spiritual warmth without overwhelming the scene. Whether depicting Ganesha, Krishna, or the hush of a monsoon temple, the intention remains the same — to create a focal point for stillness in your home.
Commissions are welcomed for original works, custom sizes, and devotional subjects meaningful to you and your family. Every inquiry is answered personally, with care for timeline, materials, and the story you wish to tell.
